Io Audio Technologies’ new TJ Series of ¼” phone jacks features a slim design with a high packing density and fits an 11.4mm chassis cutout. The compact form factor of these connectors makes them perfect for situations where space saving is a priority or space for a connector is limited. It features black, plastic housing with either a fully-threaded nose or a half-threaded nose for design flexibility when mounting on a variety of panel thicknesses.
The TJ Series provides a 3 normally closed switched-contact design, making them a perfect solution for design-in applications where the termination method is to a printed circuit board and independent control of switched contacts is needed.

The TJ Series is suited for applications such as intercom systems, testing equipment, audio consoles, pedals, and instruments. The series is available with 4 (TS) or 6 (TRS) horizontal, silver-plated pins for improved corrosion resistance and for extending the useful life of the connectors. To assist in mounting stability, plastic mounting hardware (nuts and washer) is included.
